COMPANY

Anaika Wood Ltd Oy is a leading Finnish wood processing company with roots stretching back to 1993.

We source the finest spruce from the Savo region and Central Finland with a straight trunk and sound knots. Our solid pine has a beautiful structure and comes from Karelia in Eastern Finland. We process wood material into sawn timber, planed sawn timber and gluelam. Our by-products include wood shavings for use as litter for domestic animals and pets, and sawdust and woodchip for paper mills and heating plants.

Anaika Wood processing plants are located in Lieksa, and in Kiihtelysvaara near Joensuu. Our sawmills are in Soinlahti near Iisalmi, and in Toivakka and Lieksa. We employ around 150 people in our plants.

Overall our production consists of 25% gluelam beams, 25% planed structural timber and 50% sawn timber. Our key export markets are Japan and other Asian countries. We also export to countries in Europe and North Africa, and the United States of America.

We pay continuous attention to reducing the environmental burden of our operations. We are committed to protecting the environment and acquiring high-quality raw materials.
